Hawks have enjoyed a stellar 2010 season with premierships wrapped up for the Metro 1, Youth Div 3 and U14 Div 2 Sth. Congratulations to those players, coaches, managers and their families for their hard work and success in 2010. The U14 Div 2 boys teams secured the premiership with a comfortable 5-0 away victory over Colleges United on Saturday. Needing just a draw to win the title the boys started nervously and could not get into any rhythm in the first half. Frustration was showing but credit should go to Colleges for their efforts in holding the score at 0-0 at half time. Holland Park Hawks FC will be commencing their SUMMER SQUIRTS program starting Saturday Oct 10th and running for 10 weeks through to Saturday Dec 11th. Returning Squirts will move on to the level 1 skills program currently used by our U6s incorporating small sided games. Cost is $77.00 inc GST. This will run on Saturday mornings from 8am to 8.45am. With a 1-2 win at Easts on Sunday, Holland Park Hawks Youth Team wrapped up the Youth Div 3 title with 3 games to spare. Two second half goals were enough to seal the win on a very special day for the Hawks. Holland Park Hawks Football Club secured an historic 2010 Premiership with a 3-1 victory over Taringa on Saturday night. In a fantastic week for the club the Hawks secured the premiership with 3 rounds to play to gain promotion to the Premier Leagues in 2011.
